Care Guide

Your Raphael Gabriel piece was painted by hand, and a little care keeps it that way. Most of the rules below are not unique to us — they’re the rules of any garment with a printed or painted finish. Follow them, and your piece will outlive most of the clothes in your closet.

Hand-painted and printed garments

• Turn the garment inside out before washing
• Wash cold, 30°C maximum
• Use a mild detergent — no bleach, no fabric softener
• Wash with similar colors
• Do not tumble dry. Line dry flat, away from direct sunlight
• Iron on the reverse, low heat, never directly on the print
• Do not dry clean

Hats and structured pieces

• Spot clean only with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap
• Do not submerge, do not machine wash
• Air dry at room temperature

Swimsuits

• Rinse with cold water after every use
• Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap
• Do not wring — press water out with a towel
• Line dry in shade

Original paintings

• Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading
• Dust with a soft, dry brush — never wet
• Frame behind UV-protective glass for long-term display
• Avoid hanging in humid rooms (bathrooms, kitchens)

Returns and aftercare

If something arrives damaged or fades well before it should, write us at raphaelgabrielkeller@gmail.com within 14 days. We replace or refund — no arguments.
